Crystal and Kyle started out as clients and became friends ridiculously fast. We took them on our first double date to meet with them and chat about their wedding day at Fancy Sushi. We instantly became buds and we’ve had probably 10 more double dates at Fancy Sushi since then. They introduced us to the marvelous Grape Drink and a tasty and abnormally sticky liquor called Zambuca. We’ve had superbowl parties, movie dates, workout sessions, and many more fun times with them. They are an amazing couple and they always make Matt and I smile.
Their wedding day was super fun. I hung with Crystal while she got her fabulous hair done while sipping on champagne, then we headed to Chancey’s to get ready for pictures. She laughed with her mom, chugged a “Spark” energy drink which she is totally addicted to, and then she got into her amazing wedding dress and she looked incredible. Her dad walked in and got a little emotional while hugging his precious little girl who was about to say “I do”.
Crystal did an amazing job with the details. Everything looked incredible and you could tell she put a lot of work into everything. From the Zambuca fountain, to the candy bar, to the center pieces, everything looked perfect. Her shoes were amazing, her jewelry from Montague s was gorgeous and she was ready to go.![]()
The ceremony was so sweet. Their friend Jason “Big J” was the officiant and he did a wonderful job. It was short and sweet and hard not to get emotional when listening to their vows. You could easily see just how much these two adore each other by the way they look at each other while saying their vows.
The reception was so great, Kyle and his friends are in a pretty serious air guitar band called “Laurel” and all the wedding guests got a private show. It was hilarious… the guys were seriously into their air guitar skills and they were having a total blast together. Guests danced, drank out of the Zambuca fountain, and enjoyed hanging with all their friends and family.
Crystal & Kyle: thanks for being such awesome friends to Matt and I. We totally adore you guys and were so honored to be a part of your day. Here’s to many more fancy sushi dates and lots more zambuca being spilled on my kitchen floor.![]()

Kyle’s sisters walked him down the aisle, and his mother who passed away had a chair reserved for her too…
It was so sweet.
I love seeing the grooms face as the bride makes her way down the aisle. One of my favorite moments.

How cute are her boots??

Cupcake tower and Zambuca fountain… these should be at every wedding.

Cupcake fight!

The band “Laurel”… One of the best moments of the evening…
