I met Steph through Chet at my time working at Sofa Mart here in Montana. I was looking for a Studio Manager to hire just about a year ago, and Chet called me and told me his fiance might be interested. I remembered going to their house and everything was organized and super clean. So she was hired, because I needed someone completely opposite of me. It’s almost her year anniversary working with me and I love her like crazy. She is perfect for the job and we love having her around all the time. As I write this, I realize how true that statement is because she is off on her honeymoon right now and I am DYING without her. It’s true… you don’t know what you got ’till it’s gone! Come back Steph!
I have been long awaiting being able to photograph their wedding which took place at Chico Hot Springs near Livingston, Montana. Not only because Matt and I completely adore this couple and have become good friends with them this year, but because I knew it would be a complete blast. I was so right… it was an epic wedding. Their friends are so much fun and partied their little hearts out all night. They ended the night by everyone standing around in a huge circle with Chet & Steph in the middle singing at the top of their lungs “Hotel California”. It was amazing. Matt and I were of course in the circle screaming too. The cool thing about shooting your friends wedding is you eventually get to put your camera down, change clothes, and dance the night away with everyone else.
Steph & Chet. You guys are amazing. You are amazing friends and that was proved by the amount of love poured on you guys on your big day. You make everyone smile and feel so great and loved, and you deserve each other so much! I was honored to be able to capture your wedding and I can’t wait for tons of memories to come soon! Love you guys!

Steph… you are stunning.

The printed a picture from their engagement shoot and hung it over the fireplace for the reception. Love that idea!

Such a sweet Mother/Son dance… lots of people couldn’t hold back the tears. Including Chet’s mom.Â
After all the sweet dances… came the crazy…Â Â
Karaoke!

I snuck them away from the reception for a few to go have some fun with confetti! So fun!
And why wouldn’t they have their new wedding gift which happens to be a set of samurai swords in their thank you picture?!
